The Service is not allowed by law to act or speak on a family's behalf.

Please contact the centre to inform the Educators they will be absent and follow through with an email, kelly@kirraweechildcare.com.au

If the absence is for more than one day the family is required to submit a medical certificate from a recognised medical practitioner, stating clearly that the child is fit and healthy to return to the centre.

If your child is collected from the centre after 6.00pm, you will be charged a late fee of $20.00 for the first 5 minutes and $1:00 per minute after 6.05pm.

Yes. Parents can vary the days they book their child in each week at vacation care. Once your child is booked in, the fees are payable, even if your child ends up not attending that day. 2 weeks notice is required when changing a permanent booking.

Yes. Children starting kindergarten in the new year are always welcome to attend vacation care in the January school holiday’s.

Please pack a drink bottle, hat and a nutritious lunch for your child each day. Your child will be given a choice of a variety of hands on, quiet and active activities, so please make sure they are dressed in comfortable clothing. Depending on the activity, extra items may be required. E.g. change of clothes for water activities or closed in shoes for rock climbing. Specific details will be attached to each vacation care form prior to each holiday period.

Our vacation care program offers a great variety of activities each day. We ask that your child leaves all electronic devices (ipads, tablets and video games) at home. We welcome any activity suggestions.
