Our Shire Child Care Centres employ Educators with a minimum of Certificate III in Children’s Services or is currently studying a child care related course for our Long Day care services.

For OSHC services we highly encourage our Educators to hold the following:

• First aid certificate (and complete a CPR refresher every 12 months)

• Child protection training

• Working with children check number, all educators are verified online prior to commencing working with the children.

In addition, it is essential for all our Nominated supervisors and management team to hold the following:

• Asthma certificate and Anaphylaxis certificate

• First Adi certificate

• Child protection course

• Working with children check ​

We encourage all our Educators to hold the additional certificates, regardless of their qualifications or position held.
